1.  Be a Model Digital Citizen

Inspired by Julie Paddock and Nancy Watson, co-chairs of ISTE's Digital Citizenship PLN, at their ISTE 2017 session this summer, I wanted to tackle the idea of moving digital citizenship from something done at the beginning of the year in isolation to something every educator models every day. I created a Digital Citizenship Choice Board with different categories of citizenship and different levels of activities. My goal was to provide a personalized approach for educators to determine how they want to become at least a Model Digital Citizen, if not a Digital Citizenship Leader.

I tried it out with one of my school districts this summer and it went over well. Feel free to access it on my blog and use it with those with whom you work. Please let me know how you used it and if you have any recommendations for improving it.
