Using Games to Teach Multiculturalism

Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM PT

This webinar is part of the ISTE Professional Learning Series. It will air on Wednesday, September 13 at 4 pm Pacific/7 pm Eastern. Registrants will also receive a recording of the completed webinar.

Today’s online interactive fiction games and “games for change” let students take on the roles of people from different backgrounds and with different experiences. We’ll introduce games that allow students to appreciate the differences in others and help them understand a number of cultural traditions. We’ll also share guidelines for discussions and project-based learning with these games.

Presented by the ISTE Games and Simulations Network.
