I have been a school change coach and staff developer since 1995, following a career as a high school English, speech and theatre educator. I have been a member of the faculty of the Antioch University New England Department of Education since 2002 and the Director of Antioch University’s Center for School Renewal since 2004. I was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Emerging Leader class of 2008 and am affiliated with the Coalition of Essential Schools, the School Reform Initiative and was the Co-President of the New Hampshire affiliate of Learning Forward. I am the author of Facilitating Authentic Learning (Corwin Press, 2011) as well as multiple articles. I currently blog for The Critical Skills Classroom, and Tweet, Pin, and YouTube @CriticalSkills1.
