    Greetings everyone,
In our Middle School, we are currently doing work to move to Standards-Based Grading and Reporting for next school year. I am working with teachers on implementing, assessing and reporting out on some of the ISTE Student Standards as they relate to their content areas. I was wondering if anyone had examples of rubrics used in the classroom to assess students' performance on the standards. For example, has anyone created a rubric for a 6th grader and Creative Communicator? What does a Proficient 6th-grade Creative Communicator look like in a rubric?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
    Have a nice weekend,
    Chris

While they're not specifically aligned to the ISTE standards (though they are aligned to Common Core standards), I've found the BIE's PBL rubrics to be quite useful, and with a bit of tweaking, could be aligned to the ISTE standards. Here's one for grades 6-12:

we've used -- and recommended -- the BIE rubrics for collaboration and other difficult to assess so-called soft skills. I agree they could be modified slightly to align well with ISTE student standards -
