We are working on creating a collection of resources for parents and students to supplement the great activities our teachers are already creating and sharing. This post has a few that we already like and a link to a Padlet if anyone wants to share something.

Remote Learning Resources to Support Parents and Students

Thank you in advance for suggesting additional resources,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,
Such a great start.  This ABC site listed some awesome resources for parents and children that might be of assistance:
    https://abc7ny.com/6035120/.

The journal also has a ton of links:
    https://thejournal.com/articles/2020/03/13/free-resources-ed-tech-companies-step-up-during-coronavirus-outbreak.aspx

The Florida DOE also has a huge page of links: http://www.fldoe.org/em-response/resources-families.stml

    Hope some of it helps.

Denise Pope is a senior lecturer from the Graduate School of Education and co-founder of the education non-profit Challenge Success. On March 25th, she recorded a Q&A session with the title Learning at Home with Your K-12 Students, which I feel is one of the most practical and helpful things I've seen anyone do since the COVID-19 crisis began. This is a must-see for parents trying to figure out how to think about guiding their students' learning while schools are closed.

Great resources as always Steve!  I added the Parent Newsletters I've been creating for my region to your Padlet.  Teachers are finding them helpful for low/no tech ideas.  Here is the link: https://app.edu.buncee.com/bunceeboard/52172aa872a1445b8bbef95eb3ce89ba

Here is a link from our ROE 48.  It has some good "at-home" resources for students.  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14TeaqF8eDW4yk58SqHFgFPU945_MuxTo7nafpBCWneM/edit#gid=926424513
