I'm looking for any recommendations for useful digital tools that I can try for helping with culturally-relevant learning or social-emotional learning.  I teach high school students algebra 2 and various technology classes.

Have you looked at 3 Act Tasks.  Here are some sites:
    https://tapintoteenminds.com/3acts-by-common-core/grade5-ccss/
    https://gfletchy.com/3-act-lessons/

You may need to tie in some SEL around issues of fairness, equity, sharing, survival, etc.  Depending on the 5th grade standard you can also look at students doing information graphics around statistics (fractions, decimals, place value, multiplying fractions/decimals) around food security, or homelessness, or bullying.  You might want to bring in one of the global goals for sustainable development https://www.globalgoals.org/
You can also look at http://worldslargestlesson.globalgoals.org/ for global goal projects
I've created a global goals design challenge which you might also find helpful here: https://www.creatomsetgo.com/global-goals.html

I hope this helps.  Let me know.

Sorry, thought you were working with 5th grade and I see it was for high school.  I think that algebra and geometry standards would also fit into the global goal issues as well.

    Good afternoon,

Here is a great article on SEL in the Classroom and ideas in Appendix Five

Common Sense Media has a wealth of tools, games, lessons.  Just click on SEL topic and go to 9-12 when you scroll down a bit.

Hope that helps you begin the journey.  I would love to hear if you find anything else.
