We all know that ISTE 2018 is right around the corner, that it’s a tremendous learning opportunity but many of you are still looking for more! The Teacher Education Network is announcing our first every TEN Unconference,
Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Redefining Teaching and Learning
An Un-conference that will prepare you to be an Educator of Impact
TEN is inviting all educators: we want pre-service teachers, inservice teacher, teacher education faculty and all interested in keeping up to date with the new technologies, learning how to infuse them into your pedagogy and curriculum and becoming educators of impact!
The TEN Unconference, coming in Chicago, Saturday, June 23rd (the day before the ISTE Conference begins) provides a free opportunity for you to grow and learn about technology tools, integration strategies steeped in ISTE standards, and how to enhance your teaching and learning of your students.
During this event, we will get hands on with the ISTE Standards for Educators as a framework to guide technology integration and use, attend concurrent sessions, and explore ideas and topics of interest to you in our unconference format. You will be able to network, connect, and collaborate with other technology enthusiast. In essence, you will create your own professional learning experience and follow your own path to become an educator of impact.
Looking to be more involved? Then submit a proposal to present! Share your projects and ideas, present with a colleague, create an Ignite session! It’s also a great opportunity for pre-service teachers as well!!
