AI Explorations in K-12 School Environments.
Wondering how artificial intelligence (AI) technology can enable innovative teaching and learning? Interested in bringing machine learning and AI into classrooms to prepare the next generation for the AI-driven present and the future of work? If so, AI Explorations in K-12 School Environments, a new AI-focused initiative from ISTE, could be right for you!
Through this unique GM grant-funded program, ISTE is providing 500 ISTE member coaches, tech coordinators or computer science educators with extraordinary professional learning opportunities!
Participation in AI Explorations in K-12 School Environments includes:
- Free access to the asynchronous 30-hour Artificial Intelligence Explorations and their Practical Use in School Environments ISTE U online course, to be completed between November 5, 2018, and March 3, 2019, (a $299 value).
- Access to an ISTE U online course instructor and a shared AI Google+ community. Exclusive access to our AI and STEM Career Exploration Network webinars.The opportunity for continued involvement after the course through presentations at ISTE 2019 and/or boot camps.
More than 3,000 ISTE members qualify for this program’s target audience. We have funding for 500 ISTE members who are coaches, tech coordinators or computer science educators in their districts/schools. Preference will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified ISTE members who apply by October 19, 2018.
