Nancye Blair Black is an award-winning educator who promotes progressive, holistic, technology-enriched educational pedagogy and dignity-driven instructional practices that maximize each step of a child’s developmental journey. Her accomplishments as an educational change agent have garnered her many recognitions, including International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Emerging Leader, PBS Teachers Innovation Award-winner, and featured educator in magazines, books, radio and television. Speaking to groups since she was thirteen years old, Nancye brings captivating energy, experience and expertise to her keynotes and presentations. In recent years, she has been featured at state, national, and international conferences and provided educational consulting to organizations and companies such as Amplify, Lumens Integration, and RealD. Nancye is a contributing author to several books, including Cases on 3D Technology Application and Integration in Education, and Tablets in K-12 Education. Nancye currently serves as a school board member for the Lakeland Montessori Schools, Immediate Past President for the Florida Society for Technology in Education (FSTE), and founding leader of EdCamp Polk.
