I am Program Director and an Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at The University of Arizona South and have been active in digital learning for almost 40 years. I have written and presented at state, national, and international conferences on the design of innovative physical and virtual learning environments. I am active in the Arizona ISTE affiliate, the Arizona Technology in Education Association, as the Chair of the Advocacy and Public Policy Committee.
For ISTE, I served on the ISTE Affiliate Membership Committee and Voices Carry Task Force and was the BYOD Co-Chair for ISTE 2016. I currently serve as the founder and Outgoing-Chair the Learning Space PLN.
When not working with students, I enjoy hiking and biking throughout Southern Arizona and scuba diving with my wife, Ingrid.
