Nicol Howard, PhD is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Education (Department of Teaching and Learning) at the University of Redlands. Dr. Howard has served as an educator in various capacities over the past 14 years. She has taught at the high school level (9th – 12th grades and Special Education) in the Compton Unified School District and grades K through 4 in the Corona-Norco Unified District and the Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD), and she was a Program Specialist (Personalized/Blended Learning) in the Learning Innovation with Technology department at SAUSD. Dr. Howard has also taught in the College of Educational Studies at Chapman University. Her research interests are related to effective technology-use in education and equity issues in STEM Education.
